story of Gingerbread began when the Crusades brought back the ginger
spice from the Mid-East. Europeans then created the gingerbread recipe
and began the tradition of making various Gingerbread creations.
Ginger Betty proudly continues this legacy as she creates fanciful
gingerbread specialties by customizing them with sugar, spice, and all

The G.I. Ginger Betty Foundation presents…The 4th Annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 26, 1-6pm …at THE SUMMER HOUSE, MARINA BAY!. Dear Business Owner,
As a local business, we are asking for your support of The G. I. Ginger Betty Foundation. For the past few years, the Foundation has provided many smiles to our littlest soldiers and their families back in the States by delivering Gingerbread Houses and cookies to their homes. Also, sending out APO boxes full of our signature Ginger Snap cookies overseas to our troops to enjoy so we can illustrate our gratitude of their daily sacrifices for our country.
In order for the Foundation to continue providing these uplifting treats to the many soldiers and their families in our community, we ask for your support of the 4th Annual Family Fun Day -“Sharing Cookies – Making Friends” fundraising campaign. This year’s fundraiser will take place on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 1:00pm – 6:00pm, at The Summer House at Marina Bay, Quincy, MA.
We hope you and your organization will participate this year. We are seeking sponsors to underwrite event expenses so that more of the event proceeds will directly benefit our soldiers and their families. If you are unable to sponsor our event at this time, please consider donating an item or gift certificate for our raffle activities. With your support we can ensure many soldiers and their families will benefit from the G. I. Ginger Betty Foundation.
